Content Structure
SEO is about fresh and unique contents, it rewards you with a good position on Google page. Therefore it is not recommended to duplicating other websites content to your website or duplicating the same content over and over again on your website pages.
Technically you’ll also need to understand how duplicate content can unintentionally be added to your website. Mostly, it is simply a canonicalization issue. e.g. homepage canonicalization causes most duplicate content issues on sites (example below)
Without the right canonicalization, your site’s homepage can actually have 4 different URLs.
editandprint.com.au
www.editandprint.com.au
editandprint.com.au/index.html
www.editandprint.com.au.index.html
The above set up will makes Google to see it as a different page with the same content. This can also happen on your other pages as well.
To solve the issue you need to set the duplicated pages to the right “official” page. Therefore, Google will see only that page.
